Ministry of Health: An increase of work allowance for about 10,000 nurses

The Ministry of Health has approved a substantial alteration to the structure of work allowances for nurses. It'll streamline the allowance system from 3 different categories (A, B, C) to two (A-B).

The reclassification is expected to lead to an increase of about 50 dinars in monthly work allowance for about 10,000 nurses. About 697 nurses will benefit from this reclassification, while 7,902 non-Kuwaiti nurses will benefit from the reclassification, with an average monthly allowance increase of 50 dinars. The reclassification also benefits 601 non-Kuwaiti nurses serving under the bonus clause.
