Based on the directives of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled, the intensive efforts of the security services aimed at besieging poison dealers and protecting the youth of Kuwait from this deadly scourge resulted in the seizure of about 800 kilograms of various drugs and about 1.5 million psychotropic pills during the last three months.
The Ministry of Interior was able to arrest dozens of defendants in various drug cases and they were referred to the competent authorities.
