Unified Gulf Tourist Visa gets greenlight

  • 20/11/2023

The Unified Gulf Tourist Visa project was approved by the interior ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. The project is expected to start in 2025, and it's goal is to make it easier for citizens and visitors to travel throughout the GCC countries—Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

The visa will simplify the application process and possibly increase the region's tourism industry by enabling visitors to visit several countries with a single visa. This project is a part of GCC 2030 tourism strategy to position the GCC as a top global travel destination.
