Ministry of Commerce closes 11 branches of restaurants that raised delivery prices

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry closed 11 branches of restaurants serving fast food, after it raised the prices for delivering orders to its customers by 3 times the specified price. The sources stated that raising delivery prices to consumers is a violation of the ministry's decision, which set the cost of delivery within one residential area at 250 fils, and outside the area at 500 fils.

After the investigation, it was found that restaurants had delivered orders at prices ranging between 750 fils and one dinar within the residential area.
