15 cybercrimes in Kuwait every day

The European Commission Ec-Council granted Mohammed Al-Rashidi, Chairman of the Cybersecurity Committee of the Kuwaiti Electronic Media Union, a Medal of Honor as a Cybersecurity Advisor, in recognition of his contributions and efforts to raise awareness of the field of cybersecurity in the Middle East.


Al-Rashidi expressed his happiness and pride in a statement. He revealed that 623 million cyberattacks are recorded in the world annually, costing losses estimated at more than $7 billion, while the number of those affected is about 900,000 people, pointing out that the rate of cybercrimes in Kuwait amounts to about 15 crimes per day.
