The Traffic Sector, under direct instructions from the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Traffic and Operations Affairs, Major General Yousef Al Khadda, carried out a campaign that lasted a week and resulted in the issuance of 21,858 violations, the referral of 130 vehicles to the impound garage, in addition to the arrest of 48 violators and reckless persons, and the referral of 23 juveniles to the Juvenile Prosecution. Twelve wanted persons were arrested in connection with security and criminal cases, and 6 cases of possession and use of narcotic substances were reported.
