Al-Ajiri Center: Kuwaiti sky to witness astronomical phenomena during this week

Al-Ajiri Scientific Center said on Thursday that a group of astronomical phenomena will decorate the skies of Kuwait during the first week of this month of May. The center added in a statement to Kuwait News Agency that the first of these phenomena will begin at dawn on May 4, with the conjunction of the moon with the planet Saturn and the possibility of seeing it with the naked eye at dawn until the scene disappears with sunrise.


The statement indicated that the next day the moon will be in conjunction with the planet Mars before sunrise and will disappear with the intensity of the morning twilight light. The moon will conjunct the planet Mercury on the sixth of this month at dawn, and the phenomenon can be observed with the naked eye until sunrise.
