On Friday, the Cochin International Airport received a plane from the Indian Air Force, which transported the mortal remains of the Indian victims involved in the tragic fire incident in Kuwait. Shri Kirti Vardhan Singh, the Union Minister of State for External Affairs, who promptly traveled to Kuwait on Thursday, is on board the flight accompanying the bodies. Among the 31 victims brought to Kerala, 23 were from Kerala itself, seven from Tamil Nadu, and one from Karnataka. This devastating fire in Mangaf's labor accommodation claimed the lives of 46 Indians on June 12.
