Muhammad Al-Kandari, the director of the Mubarakiya Center for Control and Inspection at the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition (PAFN), revealed that a total of 550 kilograms of rotten meat, deemed unfit for human consumption, were discarded in the Mubarakiya region throughout May and June. In a statement exclusively given to Al-Seyassah / Arab Times, Al-Kandari stated that 13 food establishments were closed down by inspection teams for various severe infractions, such as the discovery of spoiled meat, insects found inside the establishments, and rodents present in certain establishments.
