Kuwait prohibits foreign flag, foreign anthems during public and state events

The Kuwait Cabinet convened for its weekly meeting on Tuesday, July 2, and approved multiple draft decree-laws, which are now awaiting final approval from His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The meeting, which took place at Bayan Palace, was presided over by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. Additionally, the Cabinet issued a directive prohibiting all public and governmental institutions from displaying foreign flags or playing foreign national anthems during official events, emphasizing the need for adherence by official delegations.
