The Public Authority for Civil Information has proceeded with the removal of residential addresses. In a recent statement, the Authority disclosed that 269 addresses belonging to individuals have been removed. This action was taken based on the declaration of the building owner or the demolition of the building in question.
As per the Authority’s announcement, which was published in the newspaper “Kuwait Ayloum”, individuals affected by the removal must visit the Authority to register their new address. They must provide supporting documents within 30 days from the date of the announcement to avoid penalties. Failure to comply, as stated in Article 33 of Law No. 32 of 1982, may result in a fine of up to 100 dinars, multiplied by the number of persons involved.
