The Traffic and Operations Sector, under the field supervision of the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Traffic and Operations Affairs, Major General Yousef Al-Khadda, continued implementing security and traffic campaigns, with the aim of controlling the traffic and security situation on external and internal roads, and in all governorates.
The security campaigns carried out by the Traffic Department throughout last week resulted in the issuance of 38,000 tickets, the arrest of 37 reckless persons, the referral of 89 vehicles and 22 motorcycles to the impound garage, and 69 juveniles to the juvenile prosecution, after they were caught driving vehicles without driving licenses.
