A group representing the Federation of Domestic Workers Offices in Kuwait paid a visit to the Kuwaiti Embassy in Manila. Their purpose was to seek the hiring of Filipino domestic workers who have not yet had the opportunity to work in Kuwait.The delegation asked the Chargé d'Affaires to reach out to the Philippine Ministry of Labour to allow the hiring of domestic workers who do not have prior experience working in Kuwait.
The delegation has presented a memorandum and a report, emphasizing the difficulties that could arise from restricting the travel of first-time workers.The Chargé d'Affaires has provided assurance to the delegation that he will focus on resolving this matter, thus alleviating recruitment obstacles and lessening the burdens experienced by Kuwaiti citizens.
