Meteorology: Temperatures to drop in Kuwait

The Meteorological Department expected temperatures to drop starting today, Saturday, with the weather tending to be cold during the day and cold to very cold at night, with chances of frost forming in some areas, especially agricultural and desert areas.
The Director of the Department, Dharar Al-Ali, told KUNA that the country is affected by an extension of a high pressure system accompanied by a cold air mass coming from Eastern Europe with light to moderate speed northwesterly winds that are active at times, leading to a drop in temperatures, an increase in coldness, and the formation of frost in some areas.
