Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a historic visit to Kuwait on Saturday, marking the first time an Indian Prime Minister has set foot in the Gulf nation in 43 years. Modi's two-day trip is packed with bilateral talks with Kuwait's top leaders and a meet-and-greet with the Indian diaspora community. The visit is a significant milestone in India-Kuwait relations, with Modi being welcomed by Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence and Interior, Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, and other high-ranking officials.

During his stay, Modi is expected to discuss ways to strengthen ties between the two nations, particularly in areas like trade, energy, and security. He'll also address the Indian diaspora community in Kuwait, which numbers over a million people and is the largest expatriate community in the country.
