MoI: Residency Law Violations Reconciliation Started

The Ministry of Interior announced Saturday, that Decree-Law No. (114 of 2024) concerning the Residency Law for Foreigners will come into effect starting Sunday, noting that the law allows for reconciliation.


The General Department of Public Relations and Security Media at the Ministry clarified that failing to report the birth of a newborn within four months from the date of birth is considered a violation of Article (6). The reconciliation fee for this violation will be "2 dinars for each day of delay during the first month, and 4 dinars for each day of delay thereafter," with a maximum fine of 2,000 dinars.
