During its weekly meeting held at Bayan Palace yesterday, chaired by Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, the Council approved a decision to establish a grievance committee for the withdrawal and revocation of Kuwaiti citizenship, headed by Counselor Ali Al-Dhubaibi, with Abdulwahab Al-Muzaini as his deputy, in addition to the membership of Counselor Khaled Al-Bakr (Fatwa and Legislation Department), Jamal Al-Reesh, former Deputy Director General of the General Department of Investigations, and Fawaz Al-Mishaan, former Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Nationality and Travel Documents Affairs.
The Council approved the minutes of the Supreme Committee for the Investigation of Nationality, which included cases of its loss and withdrawal from some individuals, in accordance with the provisions of Decree Law No. 15 of 1959 regarding Kuwaiti nationality and its amendments.
