Kuwait International Airport has finalized preparations to handle the surge in passenger traffic during the National Day holiday period. Mansour Al-Hashemi, Director of Operations at the General Directorate of Civil Aviation, stated that a comprehensive plan has been implemented in coordination with relevant authorities to ensure smooth and efficient passenger movement. Between February 25 and March 1, the airport is set to manage 1,691 flights, including 849 departures and 842 arrivals, accommodating approximately 225,000 travelers.
To prevent congestion and streamline operations, dedicated teams have been deployed across the airport. These teams will assist passengers from the moment they enter the terminal until they reach their plane seats. Additionally, measures have been taken to organize both arrival and departure processes, ensuring a hassle-free travel experience.
Al-Hashemi urged travelers to arrive at the airport at least three hours before their flight to complete check-in and security procedures without delays. With these preparations in place, authorities aim to enhance efficiency and provide a seamless experience for all passengers during the busy holiday period.
