The Kuwaiti Council of Ministers, chaired by Acting Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, has approved the official Eid Al-Fitr holidays for government ministries and public institutions. If Eid falls on Sunday, March 30, 2025, employees will have a three-day break, resuming work on Wednesday, April 2. However, if Eid is confirmed to begin on Monday, March 31, the holiday period will be extended to five days, allowing employees to return to work on Sunday, April 6.

The break will start on Sunday, March 30, marking the completion of Ramadan, with additional holidays on Monday through Thursday in the event of a later Eid start. Institutions providing essential services will have their schedules adjusted by relevant authorities to maintain public services. The decision ensures both a well-deserved break for employees and the continued operation of critical sectors.
