Ziad Al-Najem, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has resigned amid the growing controversy over the tampering of raffle coupons. He revealed that the issue was not an isolated incident but a long-standing problem that had escalated over time.

In a statement following his resignation, Al-Najem said, "I am not here to assign blame or hold any specific party within the ministry accountable. However, I have chosen to step down out of a sense of moral responsibility. I cannot continue in my role under such compromised conditions."
