Al-Ajari Center: Unstable Weather in Kuwait to Persist for 26 Days

  • 27/03/2025

The Al-Ajari Scientific Center has confirmed that Kuwait is currently experiencing a seasonal transition, with the Hameem season ending and the Dhraan season beginning. This overlap is causing unstable weather conditions, including strong winds, thunderstorms, and hail.

According to the center, this period, known as "Sabq Al Sarayat," will lead to continued climate instability as the Dhraan season officially begins on April 2. During this time, the sun's high angle increases air temperature, intensifying air current movements.

The Dhraan season, lasting 26 days, is marked by unpredictable, active winds with varying speeds and directions, leading to fluctuating temperatures and weather patterns. The center emphasized that these shifts make accurate forecasting challenging, and residents should remain prepared for ongoing weather changes.
