The Ministry of Social Affairs announced on Saturday that it had identified a fake Instagram account using the name (mosa1.kw), falsely impersonating the ministry and exploiting the debtors' campaign to collect funds and hack donors' accounts.
In a press release, the Ministry urged the public to exercise caution and avoid interacting with fraudulent accounts. It emphasized the importance of following only the Ministry’s verified Instagram account (mosa1_kw) and using the official website for the debtors' campaign.
The Ministry confirmed that it has taken all necessary legal actions in coordination with relevant authorities to hold those responsible accountable. It advised users to remain vigilant, refrain from engaging with suspicious accounts, and rely only on official channels to protect their personal data.
