Kuwait: The Meteorological Department has warned of severe weather conditions beginning Monday afternoon, including dust storms and strong winds that may reach storm levels.

According to Dharar Al-Ali, Acting Director of the Meteorological Department, the country will be affected by a hot air mass with temperatures rising to 38°C. Strong southwesterly winds exceeding 60 km/h will shift to northwesterly as a cold front passes through, causing visibility to drop below 1,000 meters and potentially disappear in some areas.

Sea conditions will also be rough, with wave heights exceeding six feet. Al-Ali stated that the weather is expected to gradually improve by Tuesday morning, with temperatures dropping to a minimum of 20°C and a maximum of 31°C.

Citizens and residents, particularly those with chronic conditions like asthma and allergies, are urged to stay indoors unless necessary. Motorists are advised to drive with caution due to sudden drops in visibility, and beachgoers should avoid the sea due to high waves.

The department continues to update the public via its official website, mobile app, and social media platforms with the latest weather developments.
