Kuwait: After more than a decade, the Red Bull Aviation Challenge is making an exciting comeback to Kuwait, with the event scheduled for Thursday, April 18, at Marina Beach. It marks the fourth edition of the Red Bull Flight Day Challenge in Kuwait — the previous ones held in 2007, 2010, and 2012. This year’s return also marks the first time the event is being hosted in an Arab country in over 10 years.
Set to begin at 1:30 PM, the event will see more than 30 daring and imaginative teams compete by launching their handmade flying machines off a ramp into the water. Teams of four to five participants will be judged based on creativity, performance, and flight distance.
The event is open to the public free of charge, while those looking for a closer experience can purchase tickets at suffix.events. VIP access can be won by playing the interactive game and entering the draw at redbull.com/flyingdaykuwait.
The panel of judges includes Asia Shamri, Duha Al-Essa, Mohammed Barbi, Hamad Qalam, and Musaed Al-Fawzan.
Official partners for the event include Red Bull, Mobile by Zain, Nissan Al Babtain, X-cite Alghanim, Al Rai, Talabat Mart, M2R, Marina FM, Blink Experience, TikTok, KitKyu, Aqua Eva, Barbells, Banana Boat, and Lancaster Honaku.
