Kuwait City: The Al-Ajari Scientific Center has confirmed that the country is currently experiencing the second phase of the Dhiraaban season, known as the Al-Mu'akhir star, which lasts for 13 days starting April 16 each year. This period marks the fourth mansion of the spring season.
According to the center, Al-Mu'akhir is characterized by moderate weather during the night and high temperatures in the afternoon. It is also a time when the “sarayat” weather pattern continues, often bringing rain known as spring showers, which may persist until the end of April. Winds during this period typically blow from the north.
The center also noted that this season witnesses the migration of small birds, such as turtledoves, returning to their native habitats in large numbers.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department forecasts stable weather conditions for the weekend due to an extension of a high-pressure system. Acting Director Dharar Al-Ali stated that the weather will be hot during the day and moderate at night, with northwesterly to variable winds that are light to moderate in speed and possibly active at times, raising dust in open areas.
Friday's temperatures are expected to range between 30°C and 32°C during the day and between 17°C and 19°C at night. On Saturday, highs will range from 32°C to 34°C, with nighttime lows between 18°C and 20°C.
