The Director of the Meteorology Department, Dharar Al-Ali, announced that Kuwait will experience continued strong winds until next Saturday, based on current weather map readings. Wind speeds are expected to exceed 55 kilometers per hour during the day, significantly reducing horizontal visibility, especially in open areas.
At night, wind speeds may decrease slightly to around 40 kilometers per hour, particularly in desert regions. These weather conditions pose potential risks for drivers due to poor visibility and for beachgoers as waves are expected to exceed six feet.
Al-Ali advised all citizens and residents to stay updated by regularly checking the official website, mobile app, and social media channels of the Meteorology Department for the latest weather alerts and safety information.
