Saudi Arabia Announces New Umrah Season Post-Hajj

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia has officially launched the new Umrah season for the Islamic year 1446, starting after this year’s Hajj pilgrimage. The announcement includes a detailed Umrah season calendar, specifying visa issuance dates, entry permissions for pilgrims, and departure deadlines.

According to the ministry, new Umrah visas will begin to be issued from Dhul Hijjah 14, 1446, and continue until Shawwal 1, 1447. Pilgrims from abroad will be allowed to enter Saudi Arabia from Dhul Hijjah 15, 1446, with the season running until Shawwal 15, 1447.

The last date for Umrah visa holders to leave Saudi Arabia is set for Dhul Qadah 15, 1447. The new calendar aims to streamline planning and ensure a smooth pilgrimage experience for international visitors.
