The Criminal Security Sector in Kuwait, represented by the Farwaniya Investigations Department, has arrested an Indian resident in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh for practicing medicine without a license. The arrest was made following investigations into illegal medical activities in the area.
Authorities discovered that the woman, officially registered as a housewife, was treating patients—including children—inside an unlicensed clinic. She was caught in the act while examining a child.
A search of the premises revealed various medical supplies, including a stethoscope, a blood pressure monitor, baby formula distributed by the Ministry of Health, and a range of medicines. Additionally, she was found to be producing and distributing homemade “folk remedy” capsules to patients without medical oversight.
During questioning, the woman admitted to practicing medicine without any formal academic qualification or legal license. She sourced some medications from abroad and purchased others from local pharmacies.
The accused has been referred to the relevant authorities for legal action.
