Kuwait: The Ministry of Commerce has announced new updates regarding the import of poultry products. The ban on importing all types of poultry meat—fresh, chilled, frozen, and processed—as well as related products and table eggs from Iran and certain states in the United States has been lifted. This decision follows the end of the highly pathogenic avian influenza outbreak in those regions.
At the same time, the Ministry has imposed new bans on the import of similar poultry products and their derivatives from specific U.S. states, Brazil, and the Czech Republic due to the resurgence of bird flu in those areas.
These measures are part of the government’s efforts to ensure food safety and prevent the spread of avian influenza within the country. The Ministry emphasized that it continues to monitor global health reports and will update import regulations accordingly.
