The Al-Ajari Scientific Center has announced that on Sunday, September 21, 2025, the planet Saturn will be in opposition, making it visible across the sky from sunset until sunrise. Astronomy enthusiasts will have a rare opportunity to observe the ringed planet in its full glory.
In addition, the center confirmed that the first day of Rabi’ al-Thani 1447 AH will be on Tuesday, September 23, while Monday will mark the last day of Rabi’ al-Awwal. The crescent moon for Rabi’ al-Thani is expected to be born tomorrow evening at 10:55 pm Kuwait time.
However, the crescent will not be visible on Sunday night in Kuwait or across all Arab and Islamic countries, as it will not have yet been born at sunset. Observers are advised to plan their sightings accordingly for the following evening.
