Major Traffic Campaign on Jaber Bridge Nets 485 Violations and Multiple Arrests

A large-scale traffic security campaign conducted on Sheikh Jaber Bridge in Kuwait resulted in hundreds of violations and multiple arrests. The operation, led by the General Traffic Department in collaboration with several security units, targeted vehicles and motorcycles breaking traffic laws, as well as individuals wanted for security reasons. The initiative is part of the Ministry of Interior's ongoing efforts to enforce the law and curb dangerous driving behavior.

The campaign yielded significant results, including the issuance of 485 various traffic tickets. Beyond traffic infractions, authorities arrested a person who was absent from official duties and another individual who was wanted for security reasons. In a major seizure, 43 violating vehicles and motorcycles were impounded for breaking traffic regulations.

The General Traffic Department has reaffirmed its commitment to continuing these field campaigns across all governorates. Officials emphasized the critical importance of all drivers adhering to traffic laws and regulations to ensure their own safety and the safety of everyone else on the road.
