Kuwait has launched its 16th relief flight as part of the second airlift in the "Kuwait by Your Side" humanitarian campaign, carrying 10 tons of aid for the people of Gaza. The flight, which departed from Abdullah Al-Mubarak Air Base, is a coordinated effort between the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS), several Kuwaiti charitable organizations, and government ministries, including Defense and Foreign Affairs.
The Chairman of the KRCS, Khaled Al-Mughamis, stated that these efforts are a continuation of Kuwait's unwavering commitment to global humanitarian causes and are in direct response to the directives of the country's leadership to stand with the Palestinian people. He emphasized that the ongoing airlift, which delivers essential food items, reflects the deep fraternal bonds between the Kuwaiti and Palestinian peoples.
To ensure the aid reaches its intended recipients, the KRCS is working closely with the Kuwaiti Embassy in Cairo and the Egyptian Red Crescent Society. A dedicated team has also been formed to inspect the aid on the ground in Egypt and monitor the situation, preparing for its eventual delivery to the population in the Gaza Strip.
