KUWAIT PLANS TO INCREASE PETROL PRICES FROM NEXT MONTH

Kuwait City: Kuwait is set to raise petrol prices from next week, and the Kuwait National Petroleum Company and Ula Petroleum Company have announced that the Ministry of Finance's Subsidy Committee has decided to revise the price of Ultra 98 octane petrol from 165 fils to 175 fils from July 7, a local newspaper reported.


But prices of all fuels, including premium petrol, diesel and kerosene, will remain unchanged. Officials said the finance ministry's subsidy committee's decision to raise the price of ultra gasoline to 175 fils between July 7 and September 30, 2021 was primarily a financial goal to support the budget.
