DIRECT RETURN OF EXPATRIATES FROM FIVE COUNTRIES INCLUDING INDIA UNCERTAIN

  • 05/08/2021

Kuwait City: Passengers from countries where the Kovid outbreak was severe would not be allowed direct entry. There will be exemptions for categories such as doctors and diplomats. With this, the direct return of expatriates from India, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka became uncertain again. The ambiguity about the travels of people from these countries still persists. Direct flights from India have not yet been approved. There is no clear decision on how many days you will have to stay in that country if you want to come through another country.

No decision was taken at today's cabinet meeting to increase the capacity of Kuwait International Airport. At present, the number of passengers using Kuwait Airport is around 5,000 per day.
