Booster injections drew a large crowd

KUWAIT CITY:  In the year 2021, the scenario at the vaccination centre in the Kuwait International Fairground appeared to be identical in terms of masses of people waiting to acquire the COVID-19 vaccine.

People queued to obtain their first dose of the vaccine before the year began, and the same scene is repeated now with those seeking the third "booster shot" dose of the vaccine, according to Al-Rai daily.


Due to the typical and low turnout, the Ministry of Health has granted all citizens and residents a long period of time to acquire the booster dose without making an appointment, as long as six months have passed after the second dose.
