Before government transactions, 26% of Kuwaitis are asked to pay bribes

Kuwait : According to Kuwait's Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha), more than a quarter of Kuwaitis have been solicited to pay a bribe in order to complete official transactions.


According to Nazaha's recent study, many government officials in Kuwait are misusing their positions of authority, with various businesses claiming that they are frequently compelled to pay a bribe to have access to services.

According to a poll conducted by Nazaha, 26% of Kuwaitis were asked to pay a bribe in order to complete their transactions.

Bribery is on the rise in numerous government departments, according to 92 percent of survey respondents.
