In just 19 months, 22,000 foreigners have been deported from the country

KUWAIT CITY: According to the Al-Qabas newspaper, a total of 22,427 expats were deported from the country between January 1, 2020 and September 1, 2021.

In answer to an inquiry from MP Mohalhal Al-Mudhaf, the Ministry of Interior stated that the grounds used to justify the administrative expulsion are consistent with the terms of Amiri Decree No. 17/1959, which governs foreigner residency and its executive regulations.
