TRAVEL AND TOURISM OFFICES SAY TRAVEL DEMAND HAS FALLEN BY 70 PER CENT IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: The increasing number of Covid cases in the country has started to reflect the travel and tourism sector. Citizens and residents alike are reluctant to travel for fear of what the government may impose in the future in the face of rising Covid. Travel and tourism offices say demand for travel has fallen by 70 percent.


It is not only the restrictions imposed in Kuwait that deter citizens and residents from traveling. On the other hand, the restrictions in the countries of travel also frighten people. In this situation too, the travel needs of the residents to India and Egypt are high. Citizens are more likely to travel to Turkey and the UAE.
