PARTNERS OF KUWAIT AIRWAYS WORLD CUP SUPPORTERS WILL BE FLOWN BY QATAR AIRWAYS

Kuwait City: Kuwait Airways, the country's flag carrier, announced on Thursday that it has reached an agreement with Qatar Airways to fly football fans to and from Qatar during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. According to the agreement, starting November 21, KAC will operate 20 flights each day, including 10 departures from Kuwait and 10 arrivals, according to KAC Board Chairman Ali Al-Dakhan in a news release. 


"Those daily direct flights to and from the State of Qatar will operate around the clock to allow football fans to enjoy the much-anticipated event," he explained. According to KAC CEO Ma'n Razouqi, the flights will arrive in Qatar five hours before the match and depart the same day. "The flights will carry roughly 1,700 passengers per day," he added, adding that only supporters with a "Fan ID" and a match ticket are eligible to book a KAC return flight.
