KUWAIT DIDN'T BOYCOTT OFFER OF CHRISTIAN RELICS

Kuwait City: Overseer of the Precious Metals Department at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Saad Al-Saidi affirmed that the service didn't forestall the offer of the 'cross' since it is a strict image for Christians, whether they are Kuwaitis or others living in the country. He showed that the offer of the imitation of the cross is allowed and enters the country in a legitimate manner and is analyzed by the organization for assortment of charges and to stamp it with the organization seal.


 The service seized one of the valuable bits of the Buddha sculpture, "since it doesn't have a place with our convictions or any of the superb religions," taking note of that Commerce Ministry restricts the offer of whatever advances homosexuality and sinister relics, including a few gold works that are disallowed to be sold in Kuwait.

 He stated that the ministry had previously seized some symbols of sects whose beliefs are false and represents some kind of mockery of the heavenly religions. He stressed the law prohibits the circulation of any precious gold coins or any precious metal or anthropomorphic bearing an allusion in contempt of any of the three monotheistic religions.
