ALL FORMS OF SMOKING ARE PROHIBITED IN ENCLOSED OR SEMI-ENCLOSED AREAS

Kuwait City: Sheikha Al-Ibrahim, director of public relations for the Environment Public Authority (EPA), says that in addition to traditional cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, electronic hookahs (shishas), and any other tools or equipment used for smoking are also prohibited in enclosed and semi-enclosed public spaces. 


According to Sheikha Al-Ibrahim in a press release, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) emphasises the importance of abiding by the smoking bans in closed and semi-enclosed public areas in accordance with Article No. 56 of the environmental protection law No. 42/2014 and its amendments. She emphasised that the EPA keeps producing awareness videos to inform smokers and business owners of the importance of abiding by the law.
