SAUDI MARKET APPROVES ESTABLISHMENT OF DUTY FREE MARKETS AT AIRPORTS

Riyadh : The Saudi Cabinet has approved the establishment of duty-free markets (free markets) at air, sea and land border gates, including the country's airports. The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting held at Al Salam Palace in Jeddah on Tuesday under the chairmanship of King Salman.


The decision is to allow those entering and leaving the country to sell essential goods. The Cabinet also took a final decision regarding the establishment of the Saudi-Thai Coordination Council. The meeting authorized the Foreign Minister to appoint the head of the Saudi section of this council. 

The Cabinet discussed the contents of the letter sent by the Chinese President to the Saudi ruler King Salman. The meeting reviewed the discussions and meetings held with the rulers of various countries and others in the past few days.
