AZADI KA AMRIT MOHOTSAV MADE HISTORY WITH OVER 850 ARTISTS AND 75 PROGRAMES IN 750 NONSTOP MINUTES

Kuwait City: Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav as part of India's 75th Independence Day celebrations at Indian Embassy. Namaste Kuwait, a program of 75 art forms with participation of 1000 artists, lasted for more than 750 minutes. The program started at eight in the morning and continued till night with non-stop cultural performances by the Indian community from different parts of India.


India's Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan inaugurated the ceremony virtually in the morning. The minister extended warm greetings to all Indians in Kuwait and appreciated everyone who worked tirelessly for weeks to make Namaste Kuwait a reality. Indian Ambassador to Kuwait Sibi George said Namaste Kuwait is also a celebration of the vibrant partnership between the two friendly nations.

The day-long event was streamed live on the embassy's social media pages. Ambassadors and diplomats of various countries visited the event held at the embassy auditorium. Various Indian associations and dance schools from Kuwait presented various cultural art forms of different regions of India in the program.
