PAM INTRODUCES NEW SERVICE FOR EVADING EXPATS WHO HAVE NOT COMPLETED RESIDENCY FORMALITIES

Kuwait City: The Public Authority for Manpower has launched a new service through the Asshal app for reporting absenteeism (absconding) for expat workers who have entered Kuwait with work permits but have not completed residency stamping formalities.


The authority stated that the employer must take certain steps and file a complaint, which will be recorded in an automated service. Asshal can be reached by selecting the submenu Labor relation > Absenteeism. Report by selecting "New Request" to register an absence report for a worker with a work permit. 

After pressing the "Next" button, select the type of "licence" and "worker's name" and click "Details," then enter the "date " of absence and press "Submit " report. The report will be turned in. The work permit will be automatically cancelled 7 days after the absconding report is submitted.
