JAHRA PROVIDES ACCOMMODATION FOR KUWAITI EXPATRIATE WORKERS

Kuwait City:  The Jahra Governorate Committee of the Municipal Council has invited four government agencies to establish housing complexes for expatriate workers. A request for allocation of three sites in the western part of the pilgrim town, located north of Jahra town, was included in the council agenda. Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Social Affairs, Ministry of Health and State Property Administration have been invited.


At the same time, the committee also decided to forward the proposal of member Fahd Al Abduljader to the reform and development committee regarding the establishment of a special headquarters for the municipality in the Al Mutla area to monitor the activities of contractors working in the construction sector. The committee also considered the request to allot land for a 170 meter long and 168 meter wide rainwater tank to protect against heavy rains.
