Indian woman dies by suicide after killing her children

Kuwait City, Feb 21: An Indian woman named Akhila Karti committed suicide after killing her two children in Fahaheel, on february 19. She was a native of Tamil Nadu and lived in Fahaheel with her husband, 10-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter. The children were studying in Indian school. Akhila Karti suffocated her two children before committing suicide by jumping from the sixth floor. It is reported that she was being treated for depression. 

The incident happened when her husband went to work. He tried to contact the daughter when he was informed about the incident. As no one responded and the door was locked from the inside, the police had to break open the door and found the two children dead inside the house. Akhila Karti and her husband were engineers. Further investigations will be continued.
