Al-Ajiri Center: Friday is the first day of Eid Al-Fitr

Kuwait City, April 15: Al-Ajairi Scientific Center revealed that the beginning of the month of Shawwal for the year 1444 AH will be according to the general Al-Ajairi criterion on April 21. The center added in a statement that, according to the criterion, the first day of Eid will fall on Friday, given that its astronomical crescent will be born at 7 and 14 minutes on Thursday, and will stay for 24 minutes in the evening of the same day, indicating that these conditions do not apply to Al-Ajiri’s criterion for seeing the crescent.

On this occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, the Center greeted His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and Crown Prince, His Highness Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and all the people of Kuwait.
