Premarital examination centers prevent 163 unsafe marriages

Kuwait City: The medical examination centers that conduct examination before marriage belong to the Social Health Department, which is considered one of the important departments in the Ministry of Health, and it ensures the preparation and implementation of the general ministerial plan for health, social services.

Official data shows that premarital examination centers were able to prevent 163 marriages last year due to their unsafe nature, and these centers receive about 260 visitors daily, with a total of 25,463 visitors in 2022.
