The Labor Force: 964 violating workers seized since the start of the year

Kuwait City: The statistics issued by the Public Authority for Manpower shows that the Quartet Joint Committee, led by the Authority and with the membership of representatives of the Ministries of Interior and Trade and Kuwait Municipality, conducted 125 inspections this year covering all regions of the country, and 964 violating workers have been seized. About 36% of them are domestic workers.

There is a significant increase in the number of domestic workers who flee from the homes of their their sponsors, and work illegally in the private sector, stressing that the matter has become a phenomenon that requires solutions.
