340,000 citizens and residents took the biometric fingerprint

The Ministry of Interior has confirmed that this new biometric system is working efficiently and smoothly. The ministry said that everyone must take an appointment for the biometric fingerprint, through the Matta platform or the Ministry of Interior’s website for visitors, noting that it is allowed to leave without taking a fingerprint.

About 340,000 citizens and residents have taken the biometric fingerprint since its application last May 12, pointing out that efforts are continuing to facilitate its work at the border crossings. This new system aims to build a security database for citizens and residents.
